This is to inform you about the results of our continued investigation of the paintwork defect issue found in certain products, that was initially announced on 11 July 2025 (Fri). Once again we sincerely apologize for the worry and inconvenience this incident has caused.

Regarding the Remanufacturing of Affected Products
Affected products are currently being remanufactured and are scheduled to begin shipping between spring to early summer 2026. We sincerely apologize for the wait and thank you for your patience.
Cleaning Products with Defects
Internal testing has confirmed that the paint defect can be removed by cleaning with a commercially available oxygen-based bleach. However, since this issue occurs as a result of storage in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, the paint defect may reoccur if the item is stored under similar conditions even after cleaning. The results of our internal testing are follows.

Products with paint defects spanning a wide area that were successfully cleaned with oxygen-based bleach
Test Conditions and Results
Condition 1: Displayed for 48 hours in a 57°C temperature / 90% humidity environment.
- Subject A: Mild relapse of symptoms
- Subject B: No relapse observed
Condition 2: Displayed for 48 hours in a 57°C temperature / 70% humidity environment.
- Subject A: No relapse observed
- Subject B: No relapse observed
